Koffman Incubator company Watchroom will officially launch version 1.0 of their live audio conversation platform on September 24.
Watchroom, developed by Watchroom Technologies, Inc., is a community platform based on voice where people can discuss anime and react to the latest episodes. In its first iteration, the platform will have daily discussion rooms, called Afterooms, for conversations about the latest episodes of currently airing anime. The platform will also feature General Rooms, where fans can discuss various topics based on their favorite shows. Upon release, users will have the option to join English, German, French, and Spanish-speaking rooms.
The platform will be the go-to place for anime fans to share their thoughts about anime and bond with like-minded fans. Watchroom aims to foster meaningful conversations and create a safe environment where people can express themselves. The platform was beta tested with users this past July at Japan Expo 2022 in Paris. Watchroom will be available as a Web Application, as well as IOS and Android Apps shortly after. The platform has already cultivated partnerships with various industry companies assisting in making the app a staple in the anime community.
